Its pretty easy, lets say if you get like a triple kill or something amazing happens, if you dont have a kinect, double tap your Xbox one button and should come up with two options both of which will have buttons to push for record that or screen shot.
Once you hit record that, it will record the 30 seconds leading up to that moment and the clip will end where you pressed record to begin with
To get the clips off your Xbox One and onto your PC or device for editing go to this website Xbox DVR type in your gamertag and you will be able to browse through your recorded clips and screenshots. click on the clip you want to download and should be instructions on how to download it.
The clip quality is alright, its 720p 29fps which I cant really complain about unless you want 1080p 60fps/30fps then yeah haha
