The Mettle Gaming Community is looking for new members to swell the ranks of the new Halo: MCC Titanfall and Destiny section. We are a new growing gaming community that currently has Battlefield 4 members and are now branching off into Halo: MCC, Titanfall as well as Destiny.
YOU MUST BE 16+ TO BE CONSIDERED AS AN APPLICANT!
We are more than happy to accept applications from anyone that thinks they fit the mold. Listed are qualities in which you should have to apply…
Respect – We treat those within our platoon as well as fellow Mettle players with dignity, respect, and fairness.
Sportsmanship – Everyone likes to win but we should never abandon the values of respect and appreciation for our opponents and teammates no matter how tough the situation.
Loyalty – Each member does their share to support the ongoing success of our community, its members, and it’s resources. We hope all members will find their own way to demonstrate their appreciation and loyalty to our community. Finding new recruits, contributing in the forum, donating to our website and server funds, seeding our server, and getting the word out about our community are all great ways to show your support.
Integrity – We are an honest group of players and have zero tolerance for cheats or hacks. We expect all community members to display an attitude of good sportsmanship in all servers and with all players. They should also avoid any behavior that would reflect negatively on the Mettle Gaming Community as a whole (ie. Rage Quitting, Tea Bagging, etc…).
Commitment – We encourage our members to game together when possible and to participate in any Mettle Gaming Community sponsored activities or events. Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean. As long as we stay together, nothing can break us apart.
Communication & Teamwork - A good team requires two constants; constant communication and constant sacrifice. You don’t have to necessarily be talking your head off. You want to keep things quick and concise with just a simple “I have your back Player435” or “I’m almost to point B/ Bravo, stay alive!” or “There is an enemy in the building north of you”. Start out with a little chat and get the feel for it. Working together with your teammates and attacking from multiple areas is another big factor to teamwork. Running with or near a teammate is great but in certain situations spreading out is even better. The biggest thing to remember is that these are team games and working together will benefit you and your team immensely!
Don’t look at this list in any intimidating kind of way. We have a great time when we all play, and we’re all a bunch of goofballs at heart. But when it comes time to playing hard, we do just that. We win legitimately through teamwork and not giving up.
We are a mature, intense player base. We have our eyes set on competitive matches. We will not tolerate rage quitters, cheaters/glitchers, trolls, or constant complainers!
We ask all recruits to at least add all of the Leaders of Mettle through our Roster section on our website.
