I don’t know if I’m the first one to big this up but if I’m not, sorry.
Ive been looking at all the armor types shown so far and I really think that 343 could put samus like armor pieces on different armor sets and have an armor skin for the red, orange, and yellow. There’s no way that they would get in trouble for if all the pieces were part of different armor sets. Also is that smart phone commercial could take Master chief’s armor without getting in trouble I don’t see how 343 could for this.
All I would need is a green visor in Reach to achieve that. But yeah, I’d love this. EOD references the Helghast from Killzone.
If i’m not mistaken, many people who are working on Halo 4 worked on the most recent metroids. I think this is awesome in itself. I wouldn’t be surprised if you could get super close to having samus armor, and it would be an awesome easter egg-ish thing to create. I’m sure my friends and i would have days where we all changed to female avatars with samus armor lol.

Yeah. I’m hoping to get 3 classes, Master Chief, Sanus, and Snockooz/me. I want to make a Haloid Machinima.

Yeah but it never really looked like her. Even if we had a green visor it would still look to robotic and not smooth like covenat armor. There is armor in Halo 4 that is smooth.

Is that actually true? The jungle part in “Infinity” reminded me A LOT of the jungle sector from Metroid: Other M (2010), which I think is the most recent Metroid game to date.
a lot of the armor from reach would be great, as well as the hayabusa from h3 and an actual odst armor set from odst, these things will never happen

yeah, well Samus has a red helmet and chest, but the rest of her is orange, so I decided to make her all red.

That was a mod for some other game (Goldeneye? Metroid Hunters?) that someone made and IGN made that video as a joke. It was NEVER going to be on the DS.
A few people left Retro and I think only 1 of them joined 343, but it wasn’t “many” of them. They can only get so close before Nintendo would pull the plug on that. If Apple can win a lawsuit for things it didn’t even invent, Nintendo would win the copyright infringement lawsuit that would come of having very similar armor to Samus.
