so i havent got defiant or noble map packs yet i can unlock some achievements from them.
but i have anniversary and one achievement is be last man standing in living dead and i got it and no achievement… i also collected 10 skulls in headhunter and got nothing.
what gives?
The ones titled Noble & Defiant can be unlocked on any map (apart from You Blew It Up! which needs to be on Breakpoint)
On the topic of Defiant, the first wave of Defiant achievements can be unlocked on any map, however, the following need to be unlocked on a Defiant map.

All the maps titled Anniversary need to be unlocked on an Anniversary map, and for the ten skulls one, it needs to be on an Anniversary map, and it needs to be in an FFA gametype so you can get a Skullamanjaro.

there is not a playlist for anniversary objective or BTB anymore. which sucks.

There was never a playlist for Anniverary Objective?
how long have you been gone. 343 or bunjie always added a specific game type for new items. they had it for every map pack. when they added anniversary they also added a squad dlc but they got rid of that to after they messed up the playlists. But since no one felt like buying the map packs it makes it extremely difficult to get the achievements. If you do get into a defiant map it is easiest to boost with an person from the other team because they probably don’t have it ether. I have 2 achievements left and the best thing to do is find a bunch of friends and play together
I have the same problem with this and the Emergency Room achievement I have redone the challenges many times and they still don’t unlock
What are achievements exactly? I see them but I don’t understand what they are for. And how in the world do you remember all these details about which map have what achievements? You have a good memory.
I just ran through an achievement party last night and they all unlocked for me and everyone else; just make sure that you’re playing on a defiant map (Condemned, Highlands) for defiant achievements, and anniversary maps (Battle Canyon, High Noon, Penance, Ridgeline, Solitary, Solitary, Breakneck) for anniversary achievements.
Sure, I’ve seen one or two unlock on non-DLC specific maps, but I wouldn’t depend on that for unlocks.
And psi5000, achievements are just for kicks, something for people who want to “complete” a game.
