Hello there my name is Sean John I am having some problems with receiving invites and messages from other spartans and spartan companies the problem is the little flag that appears next to your name so you can view your messages dosen’t show up for me so I need to know if you could help me figure out how to solve this problem cause at this moment I’m trying to join a spartan company and my friend keeps sending me invites but for some reason I can’t receive the invites so please I need someones help.
Hi there, it sounds like you may have an Xbox Live Child account which means you won’t be able to make use of the Waypoint Inbox feature or join a Spartan Company. Have a read over my post linked below and follow the links I provided. Everything there will show you how to check if you have a child account and what you can do to promote your account if you are now at an appropriate age for your parent / guardian to do that. Let me know of that helps

I want to say I do not have a child account I have an adult account but it still won’t let me but thanks for the help anyways

As far as I know the only thing that would stop you from being able to use messages is your age. Maybe this post from the Forum Team will help:

Pues ami no me funciono me aparece un mensaje que dice " aqui falta algo" y no me aparece la bandeja de entrada

That might still be classed under a child account from what I’m reading, if it is then the same privacy rules apply

I am having this same problem on my second account. It was started as a child account, but then changed to adult, but here on halowaypoint, messages are still turned off. How do we fix this? It is an adult account now, but halowaypoint.com doesn’t realize that?
