Message with "free month code" got deleted.

Good day to all. I hope someone can help me. A few weeks ago I received a message with a free month code of Xbox Live Gold because of Halo: MCC. I decided to redeem the code later when I can get a better use of it. Today I looked for that message for redeem the code but I don’t have any message. How can I get back that message??

I have the same problem and I can’t get a solution I already talked with 4 different people from xbox support and none has given me a solution, did they gave you your code or what was the solution?

The one month was automatically added to your account. They didn’t give out codes.

I know I replied in another topic there, but for clarity XBL codes were given out to some players. This has been confirmed on a few occasions now.

I thought that was the case myself, but have had a quite a few people recently let me know that the got a code and not an account update. I guess it might depend on your account status how it works - like if you have an active / inactive sub or whatever.

I had an issue where I could not add time to my account until it expired so Microsoft sent me a code instead. They did this of their own accord though I did not need to ask for it.
