It is cool, it is funny but not worth the money. All I say is HALO REACH. Announcers for free / credits. All you had to do was play diligently.

That is true. But you can always re-enable it for him later in arena, I guess.

Charging for the pack and giving part of that money to the voice actors was part of the contract that allowed the pack in the first place. It’s well worth it in my opinion. I quite enjoy both Buck and Exuberant witness.
They need to go back to Jeff Steitzer’s older voice. I loved his running riot from CE.
Can we please just have Yabda the Merciless as an announcer option in Halo 6 as part of the base game and not extra DLC? That’s all I’m asking for.

Those weren’t announcers, they just changed the voice your character would say in Firefight.
Announcers commentate the game. Telling the player about the objective, informing them on weapon timers, screaming the medals, and a few other things. They are present in every game mode and need to record thousands of voice lines.
Reach’s Firefight voices were also created during the development of the game. Halo 5’s announcers had to be brought back into the studio to record the new lines because the stuff was created months after the game came out. They needed to pay the voice actors for coming back into the studio and doing their job.
Stop acting like everything should be free and understand a little bit more about game development before you demand stuff should be given to you.

Buy voices of war req pack. I bought it put buck on and haven’t looked back. The only micro transaction I could agree with as it doesn’t affect gameplay and was a good way to refresh an ageing game. But I agree the original voice is seriously annoying!!!

Hahaha greedy… SMH… The only thing you can’t get in H5 without req points is the voices of war and HCS team stuff. 343 is hardly greedy IMO…

Well, I don’t think so. The fact that gamers are given the choice to buy or earn req-packs proves that some sort of greediness must be existing.
Why not leave the option to buy with real money away???
If the earned money is used to create and develop better games for the future though I might accept the usage of micro transactions a little more.
Unfortunately, I believe that micro transactions are only used to fill the wallets of certain members of microsoft / 343i a little more instead. And that I will believe until somebody proves the opposite or until more transparency is given.
343i is a subsidiary company of microsoft and microsoft itself is only interested in profit maximization. Profit maximization is the greatest aim of a company which everybody should know…so. I mean, the most expensive req-pack costs more than the game itself. Far too expensive… it’s not necessary to sell those packs for such a high price.
I’m glad many Star Wars fans/gamers woke up and protested against EA when they brought out Battlefront II. Halo 5 is/was similar but luckily not as unfair.
And now I’m just too tired to continue…
