MESSAGE TO THREE-FOUR-THREE INDUSTRIES REGARDING NEW AND FUTURE HALO GAMES OF THIS SIGNIFICANT AND CRUCIAL ERA

In this message I will talk about the major aspects that make a story or work of literature good. In a game there is writing before all graphic other computer work on the game itself. I will not only talk about how to have a good story that will reach deeper feelings of the player, but also the importance of putting a deeper behind a story that is moral and spiritual. I will also talk of how someone can feel alive in the story.

The reason why I wrote this message is because It is very important that this game is made well. Not only for good profit but the benefit of those who play the game. Not just so they will be entertained, but so they may be guided to the truth. We are living in significant times and I felt a calling to send this message to provide ways to make the game better and also to the benefit of the those who play the game. I hope that you will not look at this message with a corporate mindset that is only aimed at fulfilling the desires of the company but on a more personal level.

If little human connection is made between members of the company and the project is not worked as something that has a important place in the lives of those who work on it the project will not be good. If there is no emotional attachment between the project and the people creating it a good work cannot be made. Real emotion in the game will not exist. It will be impossible to reach a deep message behind the story and a spiritual connection. Even best graphics will not fix that.

This is the problem with large companies, to produce something that really is good it must be worked on as a team with great intention, dedication, and inspiration. It is also important that the project is not rushed in any way, there should not be deadlines for every aspect of the game otherwise it becomes about meeting the deadline and not making the game good. Deadlines may be used for some things but they must be very limited. People want good games not release dates, and those who complain of timing online need to be ignored. If the game is good, word will spread. I know that a good overall game can be made and that if willing the company can improve. I am not trying to command how the company works but reveal what must be done to make a good story and game. I will without hesitation or “strain” tell you what I think is best for the game and I hope not to offend anyone or discredit the time spent and hard work of those involved with the making of the Halo games.

Halo Infinite seems to be in good direction and a open world game for Halo is very great. The use of natural landscape is something that creates emotion in the player. It is easy to understand why these things are good and I know that many who will read this are already aware why. I want give light to some things to implement into a story and why they are effective. One thing that find important is to make a story that connects with someone’s life. When the player feels that though they are not a Spartan in a full suit of armor their life is little different. There must be a deep meanings and lessons behind the story that will impact some and help them to do what is right in their life and also see the truth. Make the story simple enough so that it can be followed, but with a deep meaning. It is to ensure the story is something like no one has ever seen, there is no cliché and the story is not of any hackneyed elements. Events or situations should not be repeated several times. In a video game this is difficult but possible. Don’t do anything as most game makers usually do because this leads to a shallow story and then leaving the player feeling “empty” at the end.

A good example of a story will all these elements is the Movies Dances With Wolves. Not only is the story deep, but the cinematography, soundtracks, and acting are very good. I suggest really going over this movie several times, the first time to just watch and then again taking notes on what makes it good. What did they do to make the movie seem real? Do not attempt to copy anything of the movie but do implement how the movie is made good in its writing, soundtracks, cinematography and of other. I realize many of you might have degrees in these things but I encourage you to humble yourself, work hard, and do something as it has never been done and make it good. Do not do it as competition, for yourself, but the good of all so more may come to what is the truth and do, really, what is right.

In the game keep out useless drama, or anything that feels it has no meaning. Every line and action of the story should have meaning and importance. There should be nothing filler. Keep out anything even close to sextual. It is a waste of time.Also, stop focusing so much on Master Chief, but the lives of others. Showing the lives of many will make the game seem more real and could connect many more to the story. Include more of Marines and also from the view of Master Chief. Portraying the Brotherhood and suffering between UNSC Marines and showing the true evil of some of the enemy can help to add meaning to the story and make it seem more real. To show true and deep human connection is important in any good story.

Not just by physical violence or graphics but through showing true emotion in the characters. Even in the enemy. This makes the story and game feel more real and helps the player to realize how terrible war is. Show extreme physical and mental endurance even of Chief. Use surroundings and the use of them by characters to survive. Show conditions people are living in. Even ODST and Reach with their many praises had little or none of these things. In these next games, you must touch the bottoms of peoples soul and lead many into the truth. I encourage you to seek the truth for yourself. I will not tell you what it is but if you really seek it with all your might you will find it. It is easy to become distracted, especially by society and others. But I encourage you, those who read this, seek the truth! The truth will set you free. Please, go against all that has been done before in making games and pour out your might and soul on Halo.
