Just wanting to know why I got halo 4 online console banned after I put in all the Terminal codes it gave me XP and I went to go play the Halo 4 campain LASO to get another 50000 so I can become 130 rank. Then I get banned right in the middle of reclaimer. I guess in someone 343 thought I was XP boosting but I wasn’t. So can 343 or someone please unban my console so I can go back and play halo 4 online
It doesn’t really matter if you are right and weren’t doing anything wrong, in the end they just don’t unban consoles.
So you’re better off just buying another one, than waste time asking for them to unban your current one…

I’ve never heard of this happening to anyone before. An Xp maybe, but you have to do something pretty serious to even have a console ban considered.
Dang, that stinks. I guess they thought you were using modded content of some type? If not, I’ve got no idea why you got console banned. Is it temporary or permaban?
Are you sure it is a console ban? Like you can’t use your console at all?
Or was it just a Halo 4 ban, possibly a credit ban?

Permanently banned but I can play like halo 3 and Reach online but not Halo 4 online witch is weird.

I can play online on the console but I can not play online with Halo 4 so no spartan ops no war games just campain by myself. So if I would want to play online again I would have to buy a new console.
A permanent ban is strange in my opinion.
If the system would have detected you in boosting exp, you would have been temporarily banned, not permanent. Looking at your recent games I can’t find much either… did you play with a guest? Have you been banned a few times already? Or did you modify anything on your system?
That are the only reasons I can imagine at the moment, and only the last one could get you an instant perma-ban.
You could try shooting a pm to bs angel too. but it could take a while until you get an answer.

You know the Dew double xp days I got XP banned for a day. And no I had not guest signed in and didn’t modify my console. I still don’t know why it would console banned me I mean I put in in all the terminals I had missed witch was like half and I had got over 100000 XP plus some of the challenges. And I had message her hopefully she reply’s back on what she can do.

Just a strange account ban of some kind. I’ve never heard of this happening, but Halo 4 has had some problems lately (deleted another guys matchmaking stats entirely) so I wouldn’t put this past being a glitch of some kind.
That’s 343i’s fault for using a -Yoinking!- computer system to auto ban. If I got banned over a stupid machine making a mistake, I would think about looking into a lawsuit. It would technically be their fault too, because they should have PEOPLE who work those things, not a machine that can make ridiculous mistakes like that. I did, however, unlock a lot of those codes at once, and got I think over 200k experience in a matter of minutes.
If you are being truthful on why you got banned, then this error in their machine started recently, because I first put those codes in like a month ago. But honestly 343, your based in America. We believe in some manual labor. Hire 3-5 people to run the banhammer department. Rule of thumb, if people are cheating, they’ll get reported.
I gotta say though, I don’t think even XP boosting could get you 100k in that short of a time. I don’t think you could make 100k in an hour even. It generally takes me like 5 hours to hit the XP cap (130k), and that’s with spamming Spartan OPs
I can’t believe I haven’t been banned for quiting yet. When I play action sack I always quit out of lightening flag and Rock and Rail… Which happens a lot…
It’s only an hr ban if you habitually quit…
Hopefully one of the higher ups will get with you soon. I can’t find anything unusual about you or your game history, so a perma-ban from Halo 4 match making doesn’t make sense, and if none of your profiles can play, then it does sound like a console ban of some form.
But I thought a console ban effected all games, or at least all Halo games, so I don’t know.
I was put on Xp suspension a while back and have put those same codes in, but nothing has ever happened because of it. So it all seems odd that this would happen to you.
I do wish they would have actual people that looked over the ban system to give out such serious bans. I understand having a computer program that monitors people and issues out the hour to week long bans for more minor offenses, but that system should be made to alert an actual, living person when it finds something that can be punished by a permanent or console ban. That way, the person can look at the records and history of the player in question based on the “ban-hammer’s” findings and act accordingly.
I wish you the best of luck though and hope this turns to your favor, although we can only know what happened based on what you have told us and what we see in your game history. You seem to have several of us here on the forums backing you up, so I hope that the truth will come forward and appropriate actions will be made.
The fact is none of us have any way to tell if this guy modded or not, so I wouldn’t be too quick to bash 343 for this one.

I doubt that very much. I made a second account and played two or three games online and then used as many terminal codes to see what SR rank it would put me on.
My console is perfectly fine. You must have done something. They don’t just throw console bans out without good reason.

You seem to be obsessed with 343 and lawsuits. On the incredibly rare occasion that the system did make a mistake Microsoft would know and unban you as quick as possible. You would have no case in court. You should really stop with the whole ‘sue 343’ thing because not only would you be laughed out of court you would also be stomped on by Microsoft’s legal team.

I’m not bashing. And I agree, we don’t know because we don’t know what to look for, nor do we know what actually happened.
