Seriously the first time I walked through it I thought this would make an awesome slayer map. Its big, lots of rooftops and alleyways. Some open areas for the OP pistol to shine and some chokepoints for everything else.

agreed, there needs to be more “halo feeling maps” that are pulled from the game itself (not like reach) but more like 2/3

Seems like a rad idea. Meridian station was pretty fun to jump around the rooftops.
Off topic: is the place called “Meridian Station”? Like, is that the name the colonists gave it? Becauae that’s like calling something “Earth Station” and that’s stupid.

well the Earth Orbital Defense Platforms were pretty much the same concept with redundant naming (halo 2)
however that is a good catch lol

But they had cool names like Cairo and Athens.
They need to use parts of the campaign for multiplayer maps because the campaign environments are amazing. Sangheilios, Meridian, Genesis. There’s so much that they could use.
It was probably called that because it was the main installation on the planet and right next to the Space elevator. Also there were a lot of ways to get around and nooks and crannies, especially if you were trying to get the intel
