I think it’s time for a playlist merge. When I go into Reach, it often takes several minutes to find a match and even then, the skill matches aren’t great. This makes Reach MM far less enjoyable to me - I can get a much quicker match on Halo 4, even playing the less populated playlists there.
A few suggestions:
Merge Super Slayer / Team Slayer.
Merge Anniversary Firefight with regular Firefight.
This is just for starters - I’m just trying to point out an issue - that Reach has a lot of playlists for an old game with its population. Merging some of the playlists together would help players find matches in a quicker and less frustrating way (better skill matches).

There are plans for a Halo: Reach playlist consolidation down the line, but it will be sooner rather than later.
As for the suggestion to merge Firefight w/ Anniversary Firefight, it isn’t possible. If an Anniversary player attempts to go into that playlist, they will get kicked out of the game most times because they only own ONE Firefight map.
Heck as far as I know, Halo: Reach won’t allow players who don’t own X content to go into a playlist which uses X content.
