Should there be a mercy rule for warzone? As in, it’s 800-200 the game should just end?
I think theyre shhould be, but only when all the legendary bosses, not including warden eternal are dead and the enemy team is up 400 points. What do you think?

No! We’re not out of this yet! We can still destroy the enemy core…LOL
No mercy rule, but I feel like there should be a surrender option that appears once half your team quits that must be voted on unanimously in order to end the game. That would deter some quitters.

I like that idea best, nothing more frustrating than listening to players get mad and say they ate quitting because the other team is already up 300 points in the first five minutes.

At that point, no one is making a come back…just let them move on, Palmer.

I’ve come back from such games. It is actually not that hard when you have an organized team.

I don’t feel that would work. All it would take is one person to say no. And there will always be that one person.
Mercy rule is not appropriate for war games.
There is a Mercy rule already. Its called “Start” scroll down “Leave Game” scroll up, are you sure? “Yes”. Yea you dont get any req points for that game but its much better than sitting in your core room for literally 10 minutes of being held in your base by 5 Scorpions. I dont even care if there is a quitting penalty, I have a hard enough time enjoying more than 5 games of Warzone(One Gold Pack) a day anyway. You literally have no chance of winning when your teammates cant hold a single base for more than 5 minutes.

If your team was organized in the first place, then how did you end up in such a bad way? Typically this happens because your team is the opposite of organized, and that typically happens because some portion of the losing team gives two -Yoink- about PTFO.
With the duration of some Warzone games, I feel like there should be a surrender option, like how MOBAs have a surrender option by team vote.
" Mercy is for the weakH Here, in the streets, in competition: A man confronts you, he is the enemy. An enemy deserves no mercy" were in trouble if that kind old man from the karate kid says this jokingly.
A mercy rule for doing poorly? IDK, not necessarily a fan of that idea.
But there really should be a forfeit option once a certain percentage (33%? 50%?) of your team has quit. The first punishment for quitting should be a MM ban until the game you quit out of has ended, no questions asked (and escalating from there), as well as an automatic L in their W/L record. The only downside to that would be punishing people for quitting after half their team has already dropped out, but I really don’t think people deserve to be punished for not wanting to play out the rest of a 2v4. At that point, just give them the option to forfeit the game and accept the L, without facing the dilemma of either getting punished for quitting, or suffering 5-10 minutes of misery because they were placed with quitters.
