Its not about winning or losing to me tbh, its about having fun. Being spawnraped for 10 minutes isn’t fun and shouldn’t happen. Teaming up has nothing to do with the matter. Just because you team up doesn’t mean people aren’t going to spawnrape you.
Its like if League of legends didn’t have a surrender option and the enemy team refused to destroy the nexus. Its just not fun.

You are entitling people on companies to win against those that play solo. A bit hypocritical there, don’t you think? Warzone has been turned into a hell filled with tryhard teams, least 343I can do is implement a Mercy Rule or a playlist where the max. fireteam consists of 2 players.

Well, if its not about winning or losing for you, chances are that you are not trying and are contributing to the opposing team running over you like a dead cat. Teaming up is why the opposing team is ending you quickly and spawn trapping you. You know what, I bet the other team is having fun when they do this, who is to say they should be robbed of their fun?

You don’t have time for a clan but you play an online game anyways. Clans vary all over, there’s one out there if you look and pick the right system. Clans will give you those online friends as well.
The result can actually vary greatly if it’s team vs team rather than solo vs team. There’s more communication and tactics going on which can interfere with the other teams “farming” plan.
i disagree with mercy rule as this is halo. It’s a competitive game, it’s going to punish you for going solo and it requires team work to make the dream work.

Every team, in theory, should beat a team of randoms. No one specifically is ever entitled to a win, a kill, an assist, or even an objective for that matter. A Mercy Rule should never be implemented. If you don’t have intentions of sticking the game out and taking your beating, you should be punished for pressing that pretty little quit button. A Mercy Rule would make the quit button and the banhammer irrelevant.
A video game is a product designed explicitly for entertainming those who purchase them. If said product is consistently failing to perform as it should under the same circumstances, why should I be forced to continue my participation in such a situation by an overzealous automated banning system, just because a portion of the consumerbase considers “competitive spawnkil-” I mean, “Good Map Control,” to be fun?

I know I could find a clan, but I’d feel guilty and I need to focus more on my studies as it is, a clan would only be a futher distraction.
Warzone is not a “Competative Game”. Its a casual gametype, and having a mercy rule / surrender option isn’t uncompetitive. Games like League of legends, which is waaay more competitive than even arena have surrender options.
If they are camping outside your core neglecting to kill you they have already won. I’m astonished by the severe lack of sportsmanship here, who raised you? Barbarians?

That’s why there’s options when it comes to games. Don’t like how one plays and is setup? There’ll be one that plays and is setup like you want. Halo doesn’t need to change how the game ends just cuz people can’t counter spawnkilling. Seriously, if it were cheap and unsportsmanlike then you wouldn’t see the tactic used in tourneys or most competitive games. You don’t see it much because they know how to prevent it from happening.
you say games offer entertainment to those who buy them, does it say they’re suppose to please everyone who buys the product? Cuz that’s impossible.
It would hurt population because good teams hit mercy rule more often, bad players would hit mercy rule more often, and this affects play time plus you would have less chance to finish commendations. Not only that, if you award mercy rule in any way, good teams would strive to stomp the bad players more often.
Not sure how someone can come up with a pro-mercy rule argument. But that’s just me, and OP makes good points overall.
