So I had recently been in the H5 menus after a game and my spartan was blue and wavy as if underwater. The scheme was the same when examining friend’s spartans. I made numerous clips and took various screenshots which can be found on my feed. I’m level 151 and have never seen this nor has anyone I’ve asked.
Yeah, I’ve seen this too. To be honest though, I thought it looked pretty good and was kind of interesting.

I had this happen the other day too was sad it only lasted a few min. Took a clip as well. I can’t stand the current visual overlay on the Spartans. It’s like this ugly green mist, it reminds me of Halo reach’s pestilence. The water effect would be a welcome long term change.
That just happened to me. I took a video too. Does anyone know what it means or what causes it?
Has happened to me too, some time ago now though it was more like a dodgy TV screen than underwater. I just took it to be part of the issues surrounding the menus.

It all depends on what map you played on. For me it always occurs on the BTB map Viking.
Similar effects can happen after a variety of maps. For example, if you just played on a map tinted yellow, your spartan will be tinted yellow in the menus. Some of these effects are more noticeable than others.

Yeah … got that colour change yesterday, as well as the underwater effect. Don’t remember what maps though.
I’ve had it happen to me a bunch. Also the other day my spartan turned red (as in extra damage fire red) and it even had a sound like I just pulled out a Norfang. It seems to happen when I’ve had a couple good plays in a game but no idea if they are connected.
I assumed it was related to losing streaks but I don’t think that’s true. Hopefully a 343 rep can clarify.
