Menu actions not mapped to Xbox Controller in PC

Many options on the Halo MCC menu are not mapped to controller functions on the Steam PC version.

I am using an Xbox One Wireless Controller, for example: “set for all games”, “view Motd” “view last carnage report” and most of the buttons in custom games browser just appear as “=” at the bottom of the screen next to actions that are mapped to regular controller buttons.
This is not to be confused with the Xbox menu button with 3 horizontal lines.

Also, another issue is that “set for all games” when updating options does flat out not work for keyboard/

Same issue here, been like this ever since I bought the game. Irritating to say the least, and the “set for all games” is vague as can be. Set what for all games? The setting I just changed, or every setting? Seems like it’s neither of them.
