So I have the 4GB Slim Model and I deleted everything I could to make room for Halo 4. This leaves me with roughly 3.1GB on my harddrive…yet this is not enough for me to install the second disc so I can play Multiplayer which is the main reason why I even bought this game. Can someone help me out and tell me how many Gigs I actually need to download it? It looks like I’ll be needing to buy a 8 or 16G USB harddrive very…very soon. Any replys would be appreciated!
I just found out now that that the 4GB model is not a hard drive at all, so does this mean I basically have to purschase a USB or HDD just to play multiplayer?
I think it is likely.
Hopefully someone with a 4gb can confirm for you…
I’m thinking your theory is probably right, seeing as the 4 gig was released much later and is way cheaper. But an 8 gig hard drive shouldn’t be too much, anyways you can use a hard drive for a lot of things so it’s probably worth purchasing.
Yep. 343 said a while back you’d need 8 gigs to play multiplayer. It’s unfortunate, but getting a 16 gig USB drive (which they said would work) isn’t very expensive.
I would advise against getting an 8 gig drive, as usually not all of the drive is usable.
Make sure you buy a 16 gb, since flash drives tend to reserve space for system use as well.
