I just saw the memories of Reach Infection teaser, I must say the green energy sword looks amazing and so does the map…until I realized what it was. At first I thought it may have been a snowy remake of Powerhouse but upon further inspection it looks like a remix of Torque. Please tell me we are getting more than just that…I mean maybe a true remake (not a forge map) of Spire or Boneyard or even Highlands?
Hopefully they drop more maps, because who can say no to more maps; but if it is just the remix of torque I won’t be devastated; in fact I like the remixes since they play differently, and artistically it’s cool to see them change stuff up. I’m super excited for the next update.
It is most likely that they used a remix map so not to take people’s attention off of the new armors and infection in the trailer. Considering that ghosts of meridian was delayed by 2 weeks we can assume that this next update will be pretty large.
I totally forgot about powerhouse! That map would be great with the new Spartan abilities. Here’s to hoping it gets a remake.
