I am very excited for the Memories of Reach Update because Halo: Reach was one of my favorite halo games. As soon as I saw that this was going to be an update in the future my mind went crazy with all sorts of ideas on what they could add. I’ve created a list on some of the things I’d like to see in this update. Note: obviously not all these things could be added in. But it would be nice to see some.
The Classic (Halo: Reach) DMR -
I would love to see this as the new weapon added. In the last couple updates they’ve introduced the Halo 2 Battle Rifle and the Halo CE Magnum. I think its only obvious that 343i should give us this classic Halo: Reach weapon.
**The Falcon -**Another very memorial thing from Reach. Halo 5 has yet to introduce a UNSC flying vehicle and Memories of Reach would be the perfect time to add one. Imagine what they could do with the different variations of this in Warzone. Explosive round turrets like the ONI warthog, or maybe even a grenade launcher type gun like on the gungoose. The ability to switch seats in vehicles now would make being a gunner in this thing very effective.
Forge World -
As a forger myself, this would be incredible. No other forge canvas in Halo history has been as versatile as Forge World, It had everything from a canyon to cliffs, beaches, an island, a colosseum, and tons of open water. Paired with the new incredible forge options this would allow for crazy creations.
Auntie Dot Emblem -
This is just a cool idea for an emblem. if it was animated it would look cooler.
Iconic Mythic Armor -
Emile’s helmet with the skull, Kat’s armor with the robotic arm.
Invasion Gametype -
Although we don’t have a second species like in Halo: Reach, the invasion game type would still be amazing to have. I loved the attacker/defender style of it. And even though we have Warzone Assault, its just not the same. Its not as customizable. You’re limited to matchmaking and certain maps. Invasion also has multiple types of objectives like capture the zone, plant the bomb, and retrieve the power core. With Warzone being so big, it doesn’t have the communication to plan strikes. An attacker/defender game type like invasion in arena would be a great addition to BTB.
I agree with all those, reqch was my favourite halo. Invasion was my favourite matchmaking gametype, I love the falcon (still prefer the reach banshee though) and forge world has the best maps and memories for me. With the return of forge world, maybe the custom game community could be great again, like in halo 3 and reach.
Reach operator helmet, but I understand it just has to have body armor as well. If this does happen, I sure hope they don’t mess this up and give me some stupid armor for the operator…
I would love to have CQB added back, I’ve been sporting that for years.
I would love if a Reach-esque UI came back! It was so easy to use and everything was there!
if they brought back the grenade launcher that would be pretty cool too.
It seems you didn’t understand. Memory’s of Reach is not about the game “Halo : Reach” but about the human colony named Reach. And this is a huge difference, because it means that 343 will not make halo 5 better using what was good in reach, they will just put new trash skins and ugly emblems (and apparently a new vehicule skin that will be useless).
So don’t take your dream for the reality. Halo is just a cash machine now

Tom French already confirmed it on his twitter that the multiplayer team were working on Infection, and the FreeLC has been great for what they missed on launch FOR NOW. They still need infection and … well IDK what else

You don’t know what else, are you joking? How about king of the hill, some real maps, some actual playlists for games like oddball. SOME REAL MAPS FOR BTB.Just to name a few.
