at the end of every live stream, 343 reveals a teaser for the next update. This time, it is the long anticipated Memories of Reach update. What do you expect to see?
My predictions for the teaser are
A spartan in one of the new armour sets running in a new map
New weapon or skin and a falcon
I am not counting on this, but MAYBE infection
What do all of you think will happen in the Memories of Reach teaser?
Probably just some new useless skins and a terribly done Reach armor remake. “What? You want infection? Ok, here are some more REQs!”
Mostly the same stuff, new armor set, weapon skins, emblems. Maybe a new map? Some type of new game mode (I don’t think infection, but one can hope). Has to have something like the Falcon. Gotta have 2 or 3 things to tie it to Reach

-1 or 2 new maps

To be fair, we could conceivably get Infection in Memories of Reach.
Warzone wasn’t given a map since December, so it hardly needs another map next month if it has Darkstar. They could conceivably make a Warzone Assault map based on an invasion map, and perhaps re-program the mode with different objectives if they really wanted to do something there.
If they were considering the Falcon or Infection, I’d bet quite a bit on them appearing there at the earliest. We won’t know until the end of the Stream tomorrow.

It would be great if they announce that they will be making more permanent play lists instead of this weekend, weekly, and Customs only stuff.
Why did they announce 5 game modes and only allow one permanent, and the others are being rotated weekly? And still the other is not playable in multiplayer at all.
I have to break this into two groups.
What I want to be there:
-Multiple Reach armours
-Falcon and/or Revenant
-Grenade Launcher tease, concussion rifle, focus rifle, or maybe even something like the Reach AR as a type of H2 BR style weapon were it doesn’t have attachments but maybe like a faster RPM but increased spread or maybe even no smart link.
-Multiple iconic reach maps (countdown, uncaged[forged or not,] sword base arena version, forge world, and maybe a dev made btb map like boneyard)
-Maybe like someone running with a sword getting killed by a shotgun to tease infection
-ONI sword base firefight map
What do I think will be there:
-Maybe a Reach armour
-Maybe someone sitting in a falcon cockpit
-Maybe a tease of Countdown or Sword Base
-And if Firefight doesn’t come this update than probs a firefight on like overlook tease
I know I may be a little optimistic in what I want and I’m sure they couldn’t get it all into one small trailer but like, 343 pls. overall I think the tease will be much less rewarding than we think, but as is everything when consumed by hype. especially in the halo community…

I used to be optimistic about the future of Infection before the game that this update is named after came out. Then the game launched, and Infection didn’t have Alpha Zombies as a modifiable trait or function. As long as they don’t repeat that colossal (and utterly laughable) oversight, they’ll be doing better than Bungie.
I don’t think it can be overstated how bad of an omission that was. It was put in later on (many months later), but that did not excuse the mistake, nor did they acknowledge it (And to the best of my knowledge, they never told us about it being removed, further adding to the community’s ire). Flood is forgivable because it didn’t try to pass itself off as Infection, rather a new take.
If what they did with the Ball mode is any sort of indication, then we may yet have reason to be optimistic about what Infection can offer in H5. Whether it’s being put in this month or not (and I’m giving the benefit of the doubt here)
Im hoping they show a bunch of people with energy swords running at someone in a corner with a shotgun fighting for his life INFECTION!!!
A grenade being propelled around 4 corners and REACHING its destination, and the camera zooming in on the unfortunate while he cusses “oooh -Yoink-!” Then everybody going crazy cuz they know what Weapon will return. The g.o.a.t
