Hi I’m just wondering could anyone tell how long does the ‘Memories of Reach Pack’ last till. I don’t have enough REQ points so I can’t buy it. I want to save up but I don’t know when it will be gone, anyone have a specific date? Thanks
I am not sure if they have specified a date, but based on previous limited time packs, it’ll be gone by late Sunday or Monday, don’t buy it though, total rip off
yeah I think its a rip off. you could spend 120,000 reqs on 3 permeant unlocks or spend that on 12 permeant unlocks from gold packs

343 is always pulling this -Yoink- on the gamers. They introduce a new req pack to get everyone excited. Then they say 120,000 req points to be able to buy. Must do 4 times to be able to get the whole set. Like wtf so I have to basically play for 50 hours straight and not do anything else with my weekend. Plus they never tell you how long it will stay for, so you know how to manage your time. They do this on purpose, because they actually want to to spend money on not req points. Like -Yoink- cut on us some damn slack. Payed 60 frickin dollars to buy the game. Like that was not enough already. Can’t they just make it like 30,00-50,00 req points. Tell you how long it will be up for instead of just “limited time” They rip you off with these limited time req packs.

I completely agree with you, they are completely ripping us off, remember when bungie had control? You had to just buy the standard game edition and get every game item without having to spend more.
I do not know how long, but my opinion is that they should keep it out there for 30 days. It will allow folks that want to purchase with points a decent amount of time to complete. That said, 120k = 24 silver = 72 permanent unlocks ( 48 + emblems) Or 12 gold packs = 36 permanent unlocks. All of the items in the package are available in silver and gold packages.

The Reach pack is way not worth it unless you are dying for the reach stuff… you are paying $5 per unlock, that is the most they have ever cost… for $15 you can get 5 gold pack bundle that is 10 unlocks, vs the 3 unlocks from reach pack, yeah odds are you won’t get the reach unlocks from the 5 gold packs but you still get more unlocks and a lot more weapons and other stuff. You will unlock the reach stuff eventually in regular packs.

Trust me the faster you get every thing unlocked the happier you will be… this reach pack does nothing but drain your points for 3 unlocks… look at this way once you have everything unlocked gold packs refund 6000 req points! Yup, but that’s like saying “your first million dollars is the hardest”. Of course once you’ve spent $300 or whatever, you get the new additions reliably instead of RNJesus picking from a larger pool.

I don’t quite understand that… I am just trying to show people this reach pack isn’t worth it… 120000 points for three random reach items and some weapons… ok for 120000 points you can get 12 gold packs with 24 unlocks and even more weapons, boost, and jackpots… why waste points or money for 3 random reach items? The Reach stuff isn’t exclusive to the reach pack they are in the regular packs as well.

“Remember when Bungie had control?” Have you heard of Destiny? The final boss of the game WAS Bungie. Literally every decision they made during what I call the “year one beta” was to add artificial longevity to the game in an effort to string along players as long as possible. It was fu@king pathetic and they lost a LOT of fans by doing that. I was a big fan of Bungie before that and now I won’t preorder games anymore because of their scam. 343 seems to be adopting the same abominable model by pulling stunts like this. It’s dark days for consoles save for the few bright lights like CD Projekt Red.
So basically silver packs are the best? Ye have to remember even though Bungie were better than 343, Bungie started Halo, but also the ones who ended Halo.

I would suggest starting with Bronze packs, get all of the common stuff, then move on to Silver packs and finally Gold.
It takes a while but you will not be happy when you get two common reqs out of your Gold pack, trust me.
i spent my req points on it, it is not worth buying because you would get more reqs from silver /gold for the price of the reach pack. i only did it because i wanted to get every special pack that comes out but in all honesty i think i should just got normal req packs instead.
I just saved up for this and bought it using req points. never been more disappointed in my life.
Wasted 120,000 points. Do not pay for this pack, it’s crappola.
