343 is releasing new settings in the Memories of Reach update allowing you to control horizontal and vertical sensitivity separately. In the update preview they said that if you changed the vertical sensitivity so that it matches the horizontal sensitivity, it would actually be closer to the aiming in previous halos. To all spartans on these forums I have a couple questions:

  1. Do you think this will fix the aiming for people who consider it messed up?

  2. Will you be adjusting your settings to try to come close to the aiming in previous halos?

Personally I’m going to test it out to see how it feels but somehow I don’t think I’ll see improvement since my brain is already used to the current settings.

I will probably increase my vertical sens assuming I find it to be lower than my horizontal (which is how it feels right now).

Probably won’t help. They need to give us an option to make the aim acceleration linear. Without that, this is just BS. They know that’s what we want, and they refuse to do it… and that’s why I have only played this game 2 or 3 times since the beginning of March.
