Oh, you mean like how 343Industries betrayed the entire halo fan base when they took the reigns?
REMOVE SPRINT. REMOVE AIMING DOWN SIGHTS WITH EVERY WEAPON.
I DON’T CARE that it has been it the past couple games.
I DON’T CARE that Call of Duty has it.
Halo wasn’t always this super fast-paced game of random chance. There used to be strategy associated with knowing the maps and spawn timers. There weren’t any rewards for doing good (looking at you killstreaks) except winning and climbing the ranks.
Spartans in the older game felt like the half ton armor they had on. Slow, but with a purpose.
Halo is no longer competitive, it’s simply an arcade shooter with the core fan base who grew up loving it, being completely disenfranchised by it.
Maybe this is a time to adopt “a more grounded player experience” like CoD did last cycle and this upcoming one.
At this point, I would rather have an open-world (galaxy) single player (or co-op SPLITSCREEN) Halo RPG made by Bethesda than the next heap of garbage that 343 turns out.
