What a fun BTB map.
Sure Ragnarok and Exile are the popular choices, but I think Meltdown is going to be my personal fave.
The enjoyable chaos reminded me of Halo:CE LAN nights of yesteryear where fun took preeminence over all.
Well I though it was a good map…

Too many bad memories of close quarters fights with incineration cannon after incineration cannon, like their whole team had one.
Or the fact the map possesses a Mantis.
Longbow and Vortex though, that is good map design.
Meltdown is good, I love my Longbow though<3 Exile is tied in 2nd with Meltdown for me.
Ragnarok and Vortex are on my “wtf are those ugly maps?” list.
i’m actually going out of my way to try to play some meltdown for the icannons and the binary rifle. Almost done with my forerunner ordance mastery =p
on the last tier for the icannon, few kills from finishing the last tier for scattershot, 3/5 for b rifle. should have the stance for it in a few weeks, depending on how much meltdown i get to play =p

Yeah, fair enough.
If the other team controls all the power weapons and vehicles… not much for being on the end of that. Although that is the same regardless of map.
One of the reasons I like it is, for a big map, you never seem far from the action.
Also the action is so varied. But that may be just that I 've been playing to much Infinity Slayer and not enough BTB and just need to get out more.

But, c’mon, admit it.
You love it when you see a warm gooey glob of incinerative goodness cartwheeling towards you.
You see one and all you have time for is to voice a poor imitation of Sgt Johnson’s “Hold me.” XD
I am a big fan of Meltdown as well. My favorite thing to do in this map is SPLATTERING PEOPLE!!!
This would be the best BTB map if the Mantis was taken out of it, just doesn’t fit with that map.
I hate it mainly because I play dominion and bravo is just a chaotic mess of grenade and dmr spam making it extremely annoying to capture/defend
I liked it until they added the mantises.
I love meltdown, id play btb more often if theyd quit the repetitive exile and Ragnarok picking!
It’s just a shame no one ever picks it or Vortex. I enjoy both those maps but all I ever get is, Ragnarok/Exile on BTB, or Longbow/Exile on Dominion >_<

I agree. Meltdown and vortex are under appreciated.
Meltdown is a good map. It’s also really well-suited to active camo users - I’ve hidden in the caves before and had dudes run straight past me. Last game I managed to use camp and crouch-walked up behind an enemy Mantis to kill it - good stuff!
I agree the Mantis could do with longer between respawns.
Tell your friends and maybe it will get voted for more often. I have enjoyed about every game on it so far. I love the tunnels.

When I found out the teleporters were TWO-WAY teleporters, it totally changed the dynamic of the map for me, especially in Dominion. That might be my favorite part about Meltdown.
