Melee system change from Reach to Halo 4

Hello,

I wonder if other members of this community have experienced this “issue” when meleeing in Reach that, like me, you do not want implemented in Reach.

It happens to me all the time. you come up on an enemy and try to melee them from behind when they do not know you are there (they are either moving around the map, in a firefight, etc)and it gets extremely difficult to get a melee kill because the auto-aim is less in reach.

Now I’m not saying all the time, I’ve had my fair share of assasinations, it just seems like an enemy that doesn’t know you are there and has their back to you in Reach is harder to hit than Halo 3. Anyone else experienc this?

In terms of aim-assist, we’ve never had it better… (or worse, depending on your opinion)

Please try beating someone down in Halo 1, then come back and tell me Reach needs more aim-assist.

You never experience it? Where you go to hit an unsuspecting enemy and they move at the last second and you miss them? I have friends who play regularily and it happens to them too.
