Hey! I’ve had this idea for a gamemode for some time, and wanted to share my ideas.

It’s simple: Knockout is a gamemode where you are limited to your fists like in the Academy Tutorial, and must defeat your opponents with melee.
There are several variants to Knockout:
- Team Knockout – self-explanatory, Knockout 4v4
- FFA Knockout – self-explanatory, Knockout FFA
- Reachfall Knockout – players have the Grappleshot with the Reachfall Campaign upgrade (or alternatively, just the First Strike upgrade with a different mode name).
- Brute Knockout – players all have Gravity Hammers
- Tactical Knockout – all players have no shields, 1-hit KO, quick respawn
- Ninja Knockout – all players have infinite Thrusters (considered calling this Guardian Knockout to reference Halo 5 with the Thrusters, but Ninja seems more fitting)
- Pancake Knockout – all players have infinite Repulsors (maybe no shields)
Some notes:
- I toyed with the idea of having an Energy Sword and Gravity Hammer as power weapons in Knockout, but immediately after realized just how overpowered that’d be.
- Knockout could have equipment spawn across the map, but I’m unsure if that should happen, or if there should be gamemodes with specific equipment (e.g. Grappleshot Knockout, Thruster Knockout)
