I don know why, but i feel like i lose every single melee battle. Even if i shot first and melee first my opponent is not dying but i do after his hit. Is that a latency? Or maybe i dont do enough damage by shot to finish with melee?

I think 3 shots for the Magnum with the AR, I’ll say look at your target’s shields and see if they are lighting up bright and then maybe it’s the perfect time to melee him/her.
