So it’s well known that there is an exploit in the game to instantly melee multiple times.
But now it’s becoming rather oppressive. Every melee fight I am instantly killed. Over-shield? Nope doesn’t matter, Instantly killed. broke their shields and you’re at your leisure to melee kill them? Nope instantly killed. Almost every melee engagement I come across is an instant death due to this exploit.
It’s skewing the balance of the game tremendously and its really disrupting any legitimate understanding of melee issues for feedback. I guess I was silly to think people would acknowledge its an exploit and not use so it can be patched out, but it’s tremendously prevalent.
This exploit is also entirely nullifying Gravity Hammer (Which already swings too slow)
Destroying the usefulness of Over shield.
and giving everyone a corner-sword strategy.
Perhaps 343 doesn’t have the infrastructure set up to fix the issue with the time that’s left (without breaking anything else)
But if that’s the case, please if you are using it: Stop it. If you know someone who is, ask them not to.

I agree, its so annoying seeing people use it. The amount of times i’ve had it used on me is really annoying. Unfortunately they said it probably won’t be fixed in the preview, but it is already fixed internally on their builds

well its already fixed internally, they may patch it in for next weekends flight but who knows
Except 343 already patched it internally, and it’s pretty much a BXB glitch but on steroids. People however aren’t going to stop because you tell them to. I understand your frustration but that’s likely not going to happen.

Went back to MCC after I saw an ENTIRE team do this, all game. That’s all they did. Screw that, I’m back to playing Halo 3.

Yeah me and my friends put the game down in the first PVP segment because we kept getting BXB deleted. then we kept getting matched with like the same 6 people who just kept doing it match after match after match, and we had teams quit on us because of it too.
