Melee Damage Question.

I have nothing really against the whole melee-bleed through mechanic being brought back, but my question is say if we get punched or punch someone at full shields, why does the melee have to hurt the health too? Was there a good reason for this?

Wouldn’t it work out better for everyone if melee did just enough damage to bring the shields down when full?
It seems like slamming a grenade in someone’s face and blowing it up right now.

It does just enough not to cause any permanent damage.(it recharges to full)
If it did just enough to break shield, it wouldn’t kill when you have low shields

he said when full so the damage would still bleed through resulting in death when the shields are low.

It isn’t supposed to. It’s a glitch with something in the system.

From full health and shields one melee is supposed to just drain just your shields.

At full? That’s odd, it should only drop the shields and nothing more. Must be a glitch.

Bleed through was just never meant to be in this game. Its buggy as hell.
