I am curious what all counts for Melee Kills for the Company Commendation. I assume that typical melee, “back smack”, and assassinations count. Does getting kills with Hammers, Swords, Bombs, etc count towards the commendation?

Assassinations don’t count. Only Beat down, melee, and brawler count.
Have you confirmed they do not count?
So spartan charge, assassinations, ground pounds do not count as melee kills?
I confirmed that spartan charges count as melee’s with the black eye skull over the weekend.
Well yes, they count as a melee in that aspect. Not in commendations though. Groundpounds, Charges, assassinations are all separate things. They do not count in the melee group (for commendations)
