They are hungarian, that is all I know. Running it through a translator I got “The Interrupted My” Which sounds less than right.
Anyone think they can get a real translation of this line?

Maybe Bungie is just that incompetent.
Maybe… Perhaps Reach marked the day effort truly was no longer put into any aspect of Halo from Bungie.

Hardly. I stopped trusting Halopedia when I came to the final conclusion that too much speculation get’s passed off as fact on it. There is a reason they have to edit and re-edit pages all the time on there.
Now, the word Ez never appeared in the SUBTITLES built into the game, which is where I was reading the script from. So whether or not that was added by pure speculation BY an avid Halopedian is beyond me. But if it hasn’t you may well have found the answer to my question.

Even if you remove the “ez”, you still get the same sentence. Using Google Translate came up with “it breaks my heart.” More likely than not, the Halopedian that edited it in probably added “ez” to be more gramatically correct.
Common sense dictates that Jorge said that phrase because was born on Reach and was emotional when he saw it under attack. Taken into consideration that he also was worried about Halsey, it makes sense.
And no, not every single fact on the Halopedia is right. That doesn’t make it an invalid source of information. If that is the case, gathering information at all from the internet should be banned.

When that happens it means your sound system can’t play all the audio avaiable. Solution buy external speakers, a better TV or use headphones.
I’m fairly certain that is false. They talk about this mistake in the Legendary Video and if I do recall correctly, it was originally part of the dialogue but then it was taken out and they forgot to remove the subtitles as well.

Not, it means the subtitles are different from what’s being said. In the original script for Reach’s cutscene, “time to back that cake we made last night” was what Jun was originally supposed to say. Creative director Marcus Lehto didn’t like it, and the audio was changed. However, they never changed it in the subtitles (taken from Reach’s developer commentary).
