When or will the Megalo development tool be released? I very much would like to get my hands on it so i could make my own custom variants. I envy the people that have it, they make some interesting gametypes with it and i think i could do better. I would be making gametypes like Dogfight (Slayer Game where you spawn in banshees) or Battle Tank (Slayer game where you spawn in tanks) and i have many other ideas for epic action sack/custom gametypes.
Anyway if i am suppose to pay for it and or sign a user agreement as to not to release its content i am game for it. I am 21 so any agreement made is signed by me and only me so i am 100% liable, its not like i am 16 and need parental consent. I hope for an official answer but i will probably get some great user feed back.

I wish they talked about it more as well. Most of it would probably be beyond me, but still would like to know.

Why would they release the tool to the public? If anyone outside Microsoft/343i use it, it counts as modifying content on your Xbox 360, which is against the Terms of Service & Code of Conduct.
Megalo is exclusive to those & 343, Microsoft and at one point, Bungie.
There are people outside of 343/microsoft that already have it >.>
And what i have heard is it may be something tied up with bungie pro, you make a gametype and then upload it to your fileshare and it then is downloaded.

People like who may I ask?
Also, Bungie Pro? Bungie Pro is ending next March, that’s all that comes out of that, Microsoft wouldn’t use Bungie Pro as something to support Megalo with even if it were released to the public.

I have seen different action sack gametypes that are not in MM. If it is -Yoink!- employees making these then ok whatever.
I used that as an example. -Yoink!- wants money and i know they will do another bungie pro type of thing.
On another note if bungie pro is going away what will happen to the large fileshares?

These other gametypes such as ‘Chess’ or modified versions of the ‘HaloBall’ gametype were released by Bungie, Chess was a planned gametype but later removed and then rereleased when Reach came out.
For HaloBall, anyone can take that and change the way it plays.
For Bungie Pro, if you purchase Bungie Pro and your subscription runs out after the service ends, you keep the DMR Nameplate, 24 slots and the ability to render films.
