The question could go either way.
One could say that chickens don’t talk therefore trick question
One could say there is a paradox because a chicken who always lies cannot tell the truth and therefore cannot tell you it is lying and in this case, trick question
The most logical answer though, as explained by someone else above me, is that the chicken could very well be telling the truth because just as you may say someone is a liar does not mean they lie about everything all the time, it only means they have the tendency to lie.
all chickens are liars but that doesn’t mean they ALWAYS lie. They can lie and be called liars but they can also tell the truth sometimes too. So this chicken may be telling the truth that all chickens are liars, but then lie about something else to be called a liar.
The chicken is a pathological liar and as such cannot be trusted.
The Chicken is telling the truth because all chickens are liars but even some liars can tell the truth. This question is very similar to saying it is Opposite Day. But if it was it isn’t but if it wasn’t it is. Think about this to before answering this question.
