I have made this thread to list all the bugs in the game in which hopefully 343i could fix via updates. If you guys know of any BIG bugs (big meaning a lot of people are reporting said bug) that I missed in the list then please post letting me know and this topic will be updated:
General framerate issues.
Assault Rifle “safety switch” will disappear when turning while reloading/taking out weapon.
Non host in Co-Op experiences significant lag (especially in last 2 levels).
Reports of lost stats after the other update was sent out.
Other things that MAY not be fixable via patch:
TRANSITIONS ARE YOUR FRIEND 343i!!! In game and menu menu music sometimes just cut to either a new song or to nothing, if it fades into the song or out it would song a hell of a lot better. If you just cut to black to a cutscene or when you access the Halo: Reach multiplayer or to Waypoint from the main menu of Anniversary without some kind of transition to it it makes the game feel less polished. When going from the Anniversary multiplayer to campaign it has a smooth transition to black. I’m also glad you added the fade to black feature when switching from new to old visuals.
MENU CONTROLS ARE WAY TOO SENSITIVE!!! if I move my left stick just a little down my toggle will go from “Revert to Last Save” all the way down to “Video” options! (ok, so maybe I exaggerated a little there, however, it is still very sensitive.)

That question was brought up before the release of Anniversary, 343i said it would take up too much memory for 2 sound engines.

Actually in the menu before you go into campaign you can switch to classic audio.

Its just the remastered soundtrack. The weapon sounds remain the same.
Completing a level in cooperative and the difficulty badge is awarded for completing the wrong level. I made a thread about this, and judging from lack of replies the bug is not very common.
So many bugs. Fans deserved so much more than this rushed to market disapointment
Another annoyance is the extra extended layer of graphics means things go through it. Anything so that means you wont see Banshee’s clipping parts of mountains but half disappearing into them in the same way you can now poke your head into sections of scenery- to the delight of glitch city. Wking too close to certain parts can see you drop through the scenery now because of this
Texture load in problems when you turn around too fast or even change your gun- i can’t honestly believe the game has to load back in the weapon textures, but it most certainly does
Frame skipping all over the place
Broken sound as in sounds sounding when they shouldn’t
343 are idiots obviously, i’d have much rather they didn’t push this out the door so early just so they could meet tha exact same 10 year date. And still no response from them over any of this stuff- considering how much was made of how it was “for the fans”, the shoddy product and their continued silence shows them only to be either extremely ignorant or not honest
YES. I thought I was the only one with the super sensitive movement on the menu, I’ve accidently started a mission so many times when I tried to change skulls/difficulty.
and the netcode? I swear Halo 3 has a better one, and Halo 3’s sucked.

You guys realise the netcode is largely based from existing coding that was made 10 years ago, right? The game wasn’t even made for Live.
If we got a Halo 2 remake, I could almost promise you that it would be better because Bungie had started designing COOP over Live - But didn’t finish it in time of course. The groundwork is there… But I digress.
>10 year old game.
>Netcode is not going to be as good as a 2010 game - especially considering the original wasn’t designed for online play.
Remember guys, this is a 10 year old game. The gameplay is the same they just put a new look on it. Issues are going to happen. Live wasn’t around, its hard to tweak a game to play perfectly when it wasn’t suppose to originally. Yes, I do agree some stuff could be done better (esp the menu). At least it isn’t a Bethesda game lol.

We have been over this. There is NO 10 YEAR OLD NETCODE. The game was only split-screen co-op. So any netcode to make the game live enabled was ADDED for this release.
And that code doesnt work properly. And they have yet to comment on that. There is no excuse…

So what you don’t want 343i to patch any of the glitches?
All the glitches I have stated in my post are glitches with Halo: CEA. Halo: CE did not have these problems.
When playing co-op with my friend, we experiences the lag. However, sometimes my friend’s screen would freeze and his character would move on its own (which I figured out was just my friend frantically trying to get his screen to unfreeze). We completed the last stretch of “Two Betrayals” with him frozen and me directing him how to move (we both even go the achievements we were going for in the level upon completion).
Another glitch on my friend’s site was that he got his game completed at Legendary for all levels except “The Silent Cartographer”, which isn’t even listed in his level select.
Has anyone else experienced a random death? Like nothing happened to there character they just sorta died? This happened to me only a few times but I want to see if anyone else is having an issue.
