Mega construx is so… lacking now.
any one else who collects (Or collected) the HALO Mega Construx? remember when it wasn’t just armory’s,
and there where actual buildings back then?
this isn’t a rant or anything like that, i just am curious if any one else noticed the lack of actual sets for the mega constructs.

Mega is not in great shape right now. I used to collect it. Heck, I used to do custom (I’m great at custom Micro Fleet) and somehow managed to build a pillar of autumn. But I retired from mega since 2016.

Mega Construx are different from Mega Bloks right? I mean they are both Mattel, but I just got a Mega Bloks Scorpion for my birthday and it was quite a bit of fun to put together. It also goes quite nicely as a decoration for my bookshelf dedicated exclusively to Halo lore.

Mega Bloks And Mega Construx are two different brands under the company Mega (who are owned by Mattel). They made Construx to break away from being just an early age toys company and instead be a more direct competitor to Lego, in the way it is more of an all ages hobbiest thing.

I have have a Mega Bloks phantom from when they first started making those, also have it sitting on top of my bookshelf cause it looks great. Honestly I’m probably about as proud of building the Phantom as much as I am about my PC.

nice! I really miss those old rvb sets, like the snowbound or Highgrounds.

It’s an off year for Halo so there isn’t much in the way of new material out there. They’ve also been having some distribution issues with some of the sets and especially with some of the Heroes series. Kind of hard to find retail stores willing to carry the products, too. Target and Walmart have a section dedicated to Mega Construx but it seems to be shrinking as time goes on. Hopefully once we get closer to the release of Halo Infinite, we’ll see tons of new sets.

Yep! It’s just an off year, hopefully we’ll see some stuff soon. I’d like to think that we’ll see some sets inspired by Fireteam Raven now that ODST Graves (3rd picture) has been announced as one of the heroes in series 9.

I wish I could find Mystery Figs, sets and Armory sets at my local stores, I remember going to Big W grabbing like 4 mystery bags, but they stopped selling these, used to have a lot of them on the shelf

The last set I bought was the Halo 3 Warthog that was snowed themed and came with the Rogue, Mark 6, and Recon. I haven’t really liked any of the Halo Wars 2 or Halo 5 themed stuff. So I don’t really collect them anymore.
