We see them pop up through the game but when your busy earning multi kill medals and a medal pops up that you’ve never seen the only way to see it again properly is to go into theatre which isn’t really going to happen, fast forward 7 minutes for a medal.
Why put all these new medals in, bxr, noob combo, rocket mary, snipunch, etc but not let us see what we actually earned at the end.

I’m with 100% man. I keep hearing medals rattled of and when I glance down to see they’re already gone. And most of the time I can’t hear what they’re even called. Just let me see the damn things at the end.
Such a simple and useful feature inexplicably removed for whatever reason. What incentive do people have now to drive Warthogs and such when they don’t have bragging rights after games? Getting stuff at simple as this wrong just puzzles me

It’s not like bragging rights are taken away from your running riot simply because you can’t view the physical form of it in a “medals tab.”
“I’m guessing it’s pretty simple.” - Oh god, let me guess… you’re an English major. I don’t know how it is exactly for Halo 5 but it is probably somewhere above 10 million lines of visible code. Implementing a UI change this early in it’s release would take away labor that could be used somewhere else.
I get that you say 90% of players want a medals tab. Obviously this is the theme by how popular your thread is. (I think one guy agreed with you) But if you opened up a thread with a poll stating “Would you rather have new content or a medals tab” I think that number would significantly decrease.
I am sure somewhere down the line they will implement a UI change and when this happens I am sure a medals tab will be implemented. They are not going to make a mini patch to satisfy the small portion of the community that can’t stand not seeing the amount of pointless medals they got after the game. I’d rather view commendations over medals anyways.

It just a part of the game that’s always been there and I like it and would like it again!!

It’s not so much looking at your own medals, though it is far more convenient than an additional login which takes away from game time (not much, but some, and sure it easy to lookup). I think it’s about your opponents seeing just how much a wrecking you just served them. They see not just how many kills everyone got, but who the top dogs are and why. You get to see which players made you spawn every 2 seconds, so if they are in the next game, you can satisfy your grudge by making them PAY DEARLY by killing just them lol. I think it was just more fun that way. I won’t not play halo over it, but it would be nice to have back along with seeing who is in the lobby with a little pre game trash talk lol. And proximity voice…come on, that was fun…hearing the guy upstairs saying “where is this kid!”. So you respond with “hey guys, come help, I’m totally out of Nades and ammo, and this is where I’m at!” Then the guy upstairs comes to your location as you nade the crap out of him…cuz you lied…histericall, lol.

Oh absolutely, professional code monkeys are extremely good at their job. It will still take hours of work and testing to ensure that there are no bugs that go along with this and they will have to release the new content in the form of a patch. Honestly nothing will be done about this no matter how much we bicker. Eventually though 343 will introduce a UI patch and that is when medals have the potential of having their own tab introduced.
And just to add in, I’m currently going into my final year of school for Computer Science and I won’t lie, working with 1000 lines of code is challenging. I have no idea how these dudes get up into the millions lol.

You’re in an old age of halo right there lol, gaming has evolved a lot since the Halo 2 days.
Anyways, I’m no opposed to medals. I’m just indifferent. I don’t even think I’d view my medals after most of the matches I play. We’ll see what 343 brings to the table in the future.
