While watching some gameplay of halo 4 from PAX I didn’t see any medals pop up at all, are just in the background now?

Awesome, getting little worried there
Hopefully this means they’re re-working how medals are awarded. In early builds it rained medals.
I love medals, but they don’t mean much when you get 5 medals for doing 1 simple thing. I’m exaggerating of course, but you get the picture.
Does anyone know if the medals are still getting artistically changed? They looked sort of…unfinished?
There are medals for everything now 
Maybe even for dying, lol.
