i couldn’t agree more to this post. seeing my medals earned after each match really put the icing on the cake, get temporary bragging rights.

You don’t get commendations for that or you talking you miss getting actual assists vs a warthog assist?
Was hoping it would hit in this update, but still don’t have it. Fairly surprised something that was a fairly core feature in the past is still missing.
And also yes, give Wheelmen their assists back!

In previous Halo games the driver would get legit assists (and a medal) every time their gunner (or passenger) got a kill. Now you get a medal but the medals aren’t even shown in the postgame carnage reports (in-game). So if you were a gausshog or ONI hog driver all game and drove your friend to 25 gunner kills you would basically have nothing to show for it in the stat sheet. Stat line: 2 kills, 1 assist, 4 deaths. People would think you were sitting and hiding all game or AFK.

Yup… the silly thing is there is a boost that rewards for having the most medals in game, but you can’t see them.
Even if they don’t show after the game, at least let us see the medals somewhere in a menu, rather than having to come here…

Agreed; it is dumb how you don’t get assists any more for driving the vehicle and keeping the driver alive. It would be nice to see all our medals in game too.
I still cant believe they would leave this out. It’s been in every game since Halo 2. It’s ridiculous.
They should add it back like they had it in the beta it would help people when they want to see if they are in the top 1/2 of the medal kills when they put a medal boost on

I think they cut a lot of things out of the game to make it meet the dead line. That’s why Grifball, zombies, fiesta, assault and all the other game types weren’t put into the game. Just one less thing for them to worry about adding into the game. Which is weird because they thought we wanted to know how much damage each person dealt. I don’t give a rip how much damage I did compared to my team mates.

Right? I want to see who had a Frenzy or Multikills. I’m so confused by their thought process.
