Medal Viewing: Post game carnage report

So I haven’t seen this one brought up enough and I think it deserves it.

Why can’t we see our medals in the post game carnage report? I’ve played Halo since Halo 3 in 2007 and I don’t think I’d finish a single game without checking my medals and my stats. If they bring back medals I think they should additionally bring back who you killed the most, who you were killed the most by and your tool of destruction etc. I don’t know why this feature was omitted since it was such a huge part of the game in the past for your own pride to see how many sticks or killing sprees or multikills you got, and for bragging rights.

I think they misinterpreted the feedback about medals from the beta since people were saying they didn’t like the quantity of them. I guess 343i interpreted this as we don’t like medals at all which is far from the truth.

I think if they do implement the medals back and people don’t like all the new medals or the less significant ones then they could have an option to filter those. ie. “team takedown” “last shot” “top gun” “hat trick” or the weapon specific ones like “caster kill” etc. as well as some other ones that people aren’t as familiar with.

Additionally, in warzone, I think the medals should be split into “player kill medals” and “A.I. kill medals” so you don’t get things like “crawler assist” mixed in with your killing frenzies.

I know I’m not the only one who has this complaint, I simply haven’t seen it get as much attention as it deserved

Completely agree. The amount of times I check the post-game stats to see how many medals I got or what the best ones were is depressing…

Really annoying. Wasn’t this feature in the Beta or am I wrong?

Agreed. Took me awhile to figure out what a triple-double was since I couldn’t actually check out my medals. One of the features I really liked about Halo 4 was that all of your medals were kept tallied. I like being able to check out all of my personal stats. I’m very suprised Halo 5 keeps far fewer stats.

Yup, this should definitely be implemented in a future update.

Yep because I can’t -Yoinking!- wait to know how to earn CQC or Skill medals exactly already instead of guessing.

Edit : They said they would bring it back in some article or vid. I remember watching/reading it.

Post game metal viewing is more than likely coming.

What I find crazy is that 343 has added a ton of new medals. And then the only way to find out what some of them are is to google them after the game. Laaaame

They have a UI update coming in later. They said that this will be implemented

i agree as i too have had legendary medals and sprees and people cant see how badass i am when i obtain them

I thought they add medal report just on waypoint because they said the halo waypoont team is working on it. Does anybody know this better?
