Basically like the StarCraft 2 Achievement showcase, except you can take 2-3 Medals from you Service Record and have it under a “showcase” tab or whatever, whenever someone views your Service Record, to make it more immediate or “up-front” .

Calling cards are based on progressive achievements (e.g. 1,000 kills with [gun] yields [fancy title] Calling Card).
Halo’s in-game achievement are active (e.g. Stay alive for 60s as King in Regicide yields Reign of
Terror).
Halo medals may never come to a person, such as Reign of Terror, as not everyone can earn these.
CoD calling cards will come to one in a matter of time, it just takes, well, time.
