This is surprisingly fun!
Active camo for the assassination medal doesn’t really seem to work very well, it just makes it pretty tough to get kills. Also, people seem to like spamming the magnum then. Any way to get weapon damage turned off for the assassination medal?

A few initial thoughts:

For the most part, I’m enjoying the gametype. It has just the right amount of CrAZy or, dare I say it, mAdnEsS…

Occasionally, some players spawn or are gifted with a Jet Pack. I assume this is a bug and it should be corrected immediately.

To my mind, full strength weapons don’t work well for Assassination, Hail Mary or Melee. It’s more or less a minute of Magnums and Plasma Pistols. Consider de-tuning these guns to encourage proper tactics and dissuade kill farming.

I’m not sure why the score is to seven. I think an even number is less abstract.

Matches can be far too long and drawn out, especially when players quit beyond the JIP window. Consider cutting the time significantly.

After its two weeks are up, put this gametype immediately into Action Sack.
Very fun gametype, and should definitely be put into Action Sack in 2 weeks.
Magnum should do 0 damage during the Assassination round.
Decrease Score to Win to 5 “rounds”.
Add a normal Kill/Assist round.
Add a Plasma Kill round.
Add a Close call round.
Add an Avenger/Protector round.
I’d like a PP round or just generally make sure that at least one round is backup weapons.
I like a variety of weapons/gametypes, so I am looking forward to playing it more.
I got stuck with quitters, so I’m not sure I had a true experience yet…
I’ve played this quite a bit. With that, here’s my reactions and criticisms:
I feel 7 mini-rounds is the perfect length for score to win.
Hail Mary rounds need adjusted. I feel we should have no shields and grenades should insta-kill. As it is, it’s hard enough hail-marrying a full-shielded opponent.
Other than that. It’s great.
Very, very, super fun!
I’d say add in a Dinoblasters round, but there’s no medal tied to it, sadly.
That said, I think weapon damage needs to be disabled for the assassination round, and I think Pulse Grenades should be added to the Hail Mary round because why not. 
Oh yeah. Did I mention it needs to be in Action Sack after the 17th? Because it needs to be in Action Sack.
Loving this playlist! Will definitely be my go-to playlist for a good while.
It’s a lot of gametypes from other playlists all in one: SWAT, Snapshots FTW, Grifball, Rock 'N Rail (without the Rock), Team Splasers, Team Melees, and Team Rockets. That’s awesome!
Here’s my feedback about a few things:
For Swords and Hammers, get rid of the Hammers please. They make the Swords pointless since they win the fights over them, and Hammers are very laggy. Not that much fun. Spawning players with Thruster Packs would be pretty cool during this though.
For Assassinations, please turn off Weapon Damage (giving everyone Plasma Pistols, or better yet Energy Swords instead would be better, but not the best option). Assassinations/Beat Downs are difficult to get, so majority of people just go for Magnum/Melee kills during the minute.
For Hail Marys, I suggest just changing this to Grenade Kills. Getting Hail Marys are very hard (and practically impossible on Adrift), so most just try to get kills by other means, just waiting for the minute to pass. Also, is it impossible to give infinite Pulse Grenades too? Because not seeing them makes me sad. If this does stay as Hail Marys, then please make it where grenades kill much easier (and give everyone like Swords so they can’t snipe very easily with Magnums), thereby getting Hail Marys would be more easier/practical.
Other than that, got nothing more to say. Except that Medal Madness CSR is currently not showing up, kinda sad about that. Oh, and that this should definitely be added into Action Sack whenever possible.
I guess I am in the minority here because I didn’t think it was that fun. Over all I thought it was far too confusing to be enjoyable. I will agree that it is definitely worthy of Action Sack, but not it’s own playlist, at least that way the game type can be vetoed and not just the maps.

False. A sword should beat a hammer in a one on one fight.

When you have Railguns, you get a jetpack. If you don’t die, you keep the jetpack into the next round.
To be honest: I don’t like this gametype at all.
It’s basically a different kind of fiesta - but it has nothing to do with medals. So I found it’s quite boring after 3 rounds (all 3 on haven in a row - guys, please consider to vote for something else
)
What could be better?

There should be this “voice” telling you which medal a new round is about. You know, like saying “Assassination!” or “Roaaardtrip!”. At first I didn’t realise “Hail Mary” is about Hail Mary. I just thought “Okay, Pistols…letzt shoot each other”.
Btw: HM is impossible in this gametype…
Or Double Kill - didn’t realised that. Just though “another pistol-Round?”
It should be way more obvious what kind of medal you need to archive.

The Medals are kinda boring. Rocket Kill? Really? Or Binary Kill? Railgun-Kill? This is basically “Rock n Rail” or “Binary Slayer”. I don’t need MEDAL madness to play this…
There are way more creative medals. Think of retribution where you need to get assasinated to earn this medal!
Or let’s honor those guy who always get “Assists”, you know what I mean?

There is just one gametype - only the map might be different.
But think about a vehicle focused medal madness - I’m just thinking about “Roaaaadtrip!” again.
Or maybe some KTF where you need to get carrier kill medals or whatever.
Long story short:
- make it absolutely clear which medal you need to earn
- be more creative.
Just look at the list of all the medals in Halo 4…

Perhaps I’m missing something, but I don’t get a Jetpack with the Railgun, and it’s the same when I check it in Custom Games.
If it’s intentional, it should be removed. If it’s an error, it should be corrected.

Really enjoying Medal Madness so far, but there are a few issues:

Certain rounds should not appear on certain maps. Assassination should not occur on large maps like Harvest, and Hail Mary should not occur on small maps like Adrift and Onyx.

The Hail Mary round is not very practical. Most players just run around trying to complete the daily challenges rather than playing the objective (yesterday it was assassinations, today melees).
Anyway the Hail Mary round should be switched to grenade and plasma kills. It would be nice to see some Pulse grenades in here too. Otherwise, if the HM round is kept, melee and weapon damage should be reduced or completely removed.

In the Hammers and Swords round, it seems like the hammer is a bit OP. Perhaps players could also spawn with Hologram to balance this out a bit.

The Double Kill round should be turned into a Multi Kill round where all multi-kill medals count.
Some new rounds could be interesting:
1.EMP Assist: Players could spawn with PP’s and Carbines. I think this would create some interesting team work.

Regicide and King Kills: The game would turn into a 60 second round of Team Regicide (I’m not sure if the gametype can be switched on the fly though).

For other weapons Generic Kill rounds could be added.

Overall, Medal Madness is very enjoyable, and it is nice to see another gametype where Exterminations are obtainable 
Very fun playlist although I think that Hail Mary should be removed. They’re much too rare and the round is a little pointless. Also damage should definitely be removed on Assassinations.
As everyone has said, the assassination turn should be just assassination, without weapons if it’s possible, so people won’t think about using them 
Also, for the jetpack, I found that you have to day in order to spawn whith one…
That being said, my round is starting, so see ya on the battlefield!!!

hail marys is a cool medal to get but needs more grenades maybe 3 of each including pulse. some one suggested no shields but I think keep them with that many grenades and you need the pistols to kill enemies that rush you so they spawn far away.
7 is the perfect score to win. but I dont enjoy rounds being repeated.

If I remember correctly, there’s something wrong with regenerating Pulse grenades, so it actually doesn’t work. Hail Mary would work better without shields and just using a weapon that isn’t used in another mini-round and adjusting that weapon’s strength to zero for this gametype. Maybe a Boltshot and adjust the shot trigger pulls to an insanely low number and it can also disallow charging as well by adjusting the secondary fire. This would make super-slow shooting a reality and would focus MORE on grenading during this time.
A few additional comments:

Adrift and Harvest are not well suited to this gametype. Maps must allow players to make seamless transitions from covered to open spaces, and short to long range play, at the drop of a hat.

Don’t be stingy and drastically increase the stable of available maps. Consider adding everything from The Ark and Dispatch to Meta Raid and Butter. More is better and get creative.

To confirm, the Jetpack equips after dying in the Railgun round and persists until dying in a new round. This should be corrected without delay.

Every game I’ve played (and my friends too), the Hammer wins. Every time.
