Medal-Focused Gametype

My idea is for a mode where you gain points through the various medals instead of simply eliminating foes or capturing objectives.

  • Each medal would be worth a different amount of points (ex. Headshot - 1 point, Double Kill - 2 Points, Perfect Kill - 3 points, Assassination - 5 points). This would encourage people to get creative with how they kill an opponent. In other gametypes, it would be foolish to go for a Rocket Mary, but if it was worth a lot of points in this mode then it’s worth risking. - Generic kills do not count, so if you get a kill with a storm rifle- no points. Now it may help you indirectly get that Killing Spree or the Reversal, but it doesn’t get you points itself. This encourages precision play while not completely getting rid of the autos or power weapons. The main draw of this mode would be the Risk/Reward between playing it safe or going for the medals that wouldn’t be as advised to go for in other gametypes like the Assassination or Snapshot medals.

It’s called score attack

They could call it Medalocalypse. It would be the heaviest, most brutal gamemode ever.

The only map made for this mode would take place in the mariana trench.

That isn’t your idea… They did medal madness in action sack in H4… most didn’t seem to understand how it worked

Medal Madness was different. You got a single point for getting the most of a specific medal during a 1 minute interval.

My idea was that each medal would be worth a different point value and you win by hitting like 150 points. The more challenging the medal is to earn- the more points you earn. So an Assassination medal would be worth 10 points, while the Assist medal would equal 1 point. Thus, this is where the risk/reward comes out of unlike Medal Madness.
