Medal callout in Warzone

Anyone else experiencing no callout for medals to be obtained in Warzone? When I get the perfect kills or doubles, triples, overkills, etc. I would like to be able to hear the announcer call it out. But I hear nothing for it. Was that intentional or possible bug? Anyways I am enjoying it and its not game breaking but I thought others might be having the same issues

I think they wanted Sarah Palmer to be the sole announcer for Warzone and for announcements to be just based on the objectives and team/enemy activities, vs your own duelling successes. I agree with you though, certain medals like the ones you mentioned should still be announced to give this mode the final blessing as an all-out everything-Halo mashup mode :stuck_out_tongue: Can’t have Halo without the Halo announcer!

like unreal tournament?

I have heard the odd callout, for double kills and the like. It was extremely quiet though so maybe just background noise is covering it.

You’re -Yoinked!- up

Agreed, it’s just not the same to not hear the “double kill,” “triple kill” " Ovvvverkill" of course, I suck and never hear it anyway, but it’s still cool.

Due to the high amount of audio that is present in Warzone (the Warzone commander audio regarding Warzone map and gameplay events, etc), as well as the increased medal count within Warzone (you can see all medals here), medal audio is intentionally disabled in Warzone. However, we’d love to hear your feedback on Warzone audio – please leave it in this thread!

Holy! wasn’t expecting the Forum team to comment on my topic this is pretty nice. Well now that you mention audio, there is one concern I have regarding the warzone audio. Through numerous games, I am noticing that there is no indication when a base is being captured by the enemy other than visual. Often times when my team loses the bases I am notified that the enemy team had captured it. Was this also intentional?
