Mechanic for better teamwork/improved matchmaking

when your teammates shoots an enemy, the enemies location should be visible for a split second kinda like an xray for the whole team to see. The radar should also point you in the general direction in case your screen is not facing the exposed enemy location. this mechanic basically does the job of team communication without having to actually communicate and make matchmaking easier.

this mechanic should only apply to direct shots. If something like a grenade is used then only the grenade location should show up for a split second if it damages a player. However, if an enemy is visible during the grenade damage then their specific location should be revealed. Obviously i’'m not suggesting any of this for hcs settings.

could probably go a step further and do more stuff like health information for direct visible shots

This could probably be done with just aiming at a target too instead of actually applying damage to activate the mechanic.

EDIT-

actually coulld even work better if enemies locations is revealed to everyone if they just appear on your screen(no aiming required, that way multiplle people can be spotted easily.) Even the most unskiilled player would be commincating without even realising it.

This would only really would benefit slayer. Usually the problem with teammates is in objective gametypes.

slayer is the most popular mode because it requires the least teamwork and the main focus is killing. The other modes would probably benefit more. People treat objective modes like theyre playing slayer because they struggle at teamwork or they’d rather be playing slayer.

People have choice with unranked modes but the hcs settings force players to play objectives when they might just want to play ranked slayer. Basically 343 are hurting their matchmaking because the right players cant find the right modes. If its a population issue, i would just swap objectives for slayer. All the pro players treat it like slayer anyway and if they need objectives then thats what they can use scrims for.

i actually dont like infinites mode selection at all. its catered to noobs or pros.
