Are these mech packs worth it?
I guess if you need vehicle certifications it is since you get three of them. You also get eight vehicles, but you could probably get a similar amount from 80K in gold and silver packs.
Absolutely not. Stay on the Silver-Gold grind if you want a better payout.
If you are just starting out and really want a couple vehicle reqs then maybe. All these specialty packs ask yourself this… Is the two (or how ever many unlocks the pack provides) worth the number of silver or gold unlocks you would get (not to mention all the boost and single use reqs you would get)? Example…this pack is 80k points and gives two random vehicle unlocks and some single use vehicles with it… If you are grinding silver packs still that is 16 packs or 32 unlocks( golds its eight packs or 16 unlocks)…
Not worth it, especially if you have all the reqs.

I’ll also chime in and say it’s not worth it. It’s yet another REQ pack designed to milk money out of an aging game.
Depends on your style of play and if you play Warzone at all…

How is it milking money if you are getting it with points? Not that I would. Total waste. I’m just honestly curious who it is that is actually sending money on reqs I mean I can understand if the game just came out… I still wouldn’t but I could see that. But of all the people that I have played with I’ve only met 2 dudes that spent money on them. I just don’t get the mentality behind it; it seems crazy to me.
Oh and btw those two dudes were a couple of stoned Aussies that I played with like at 8 am while they were seriously messed up. They dropped a couple hundred $ EACH in reqs that morning and died constantly leaving everything on the field. It was great… I feel like I need to make a missed connections post for those guys. But I digress who has that kind of money to just burn.
Only time I’ll pay that much for any REQ is if it guarantees armor and helmet unlocks for “special things”, such as the last time it was armor variants for Noble Team from Halo Reach. But I didn’t buy those because I managed to unlock the one of them already just from silver packs. So I figured I’ll just come across the others at some point. I’m really wanting the original Halo armor variants but have yet to come across them (not including the one you get from playing MCC).
It turned out to be worth it. I got Hannibal Wasp, Woodland Mantis, and Temple Banshee certified! Previously, I only had plain old vanilla Mantis certification, and it completed my Wasp and Temple sets.
And it upped my vehicle certification to 77% or somesuch
Any idea how much certification increases your chance of acquiring those particular REQs?
In my opinion, Not at all. Stick with the regular packs.

No because you lose all the vehicles the moment you play war zone. Moment you spawn in with one you literally get blown up within 5 seconds because of garbage spawns. Stick to gold packs

The base mongooses are in bronze packs, get a few and you should unlock them. If you got points back then you have everything from silvers and golds unlocked.

So, you’re saying that if I buy bronze packs that I’ll unlock the last four certifications I need? I’ll try it. However, I believe my profile/account is glitched. I can’t understand why I’ve unlocked every vehicle certification (including two mongoose certs) but can’t unlock the last four. I’ll report back when I buy a bronze pack…

Bronze pack purchases do nothing for me. I cannot unlock four mongoose certifications. I only get Req points back.
