There are only a handful of hot topics you need to concern yourself with.
Most of these topics are related to multiplayer.
More specificly, How matchmaking is going to handle the community that plays your game.
Disregard all the people who selfishly wish to keep matchmaking as a sort of JOB. Instead of a ‘fun pastime’.
We have people fighting against adding a join-in-progress system…ignore them.
We have people fighting against adding dedicated server support… IGNORE THEM!
We have people complaining about every little addition you make as far as Abilities go.
IGNORE THEM!
Here’s why.
If you make Custom Games/Dedicated servers, the main attraction of Halo’s Multiplayer…
Each person can decide for themselves, what they do and do not like.
So, you can add as MUCH as you want…
And if Matchmaking is built correctly.
They can remove the stuff they don’t like, without forcing it upon the rest of the people who wish to play to their own preference.
So just ignore the people who are trying to keep matchmaking as it has been since Halo 2.
EVERYTHING ELSE IS JUST A WASTE OF TIME TO EVEN DISCUSS!
