me complaining about Halo 5 maps and stuff

I honestly have a lot of fun with Halo 5 matchmaking and although i don’t believe and buying req packs Warzone has its moments as well. However a lot of the maps are not very well done and the “Banhammer” is way to harsh.
It’s funny to see regular players create maps that are parallel in quality to actual H5 arena maps. I personally feel that most of the arena maps are blocky and are a hollowed shell of former Bungie Halo maps. I love that we get to play with maps created by the actual players, to me it seems the players of H5 have way more creativity then the actual game designers do. 343 at least tries to give us new maps every once in awhile but to be real all the maps just seem like different variations of the same map. Sometimes i think they might as well bring back all the halo 3 maps but i know they would be turned into blocky garbage and my spirits would be crushed.
Rage quitting is the way of online gaming life. It happens, people do it, I do it, its nothing new to this community. While Bungie created Halo and thus the “Banhammer” I can’t be upset with 343 for the douchie name. However I can say 343 has made bans far to extreme for little crimes such as leaving a single game. These extreme ban lengths vary from five minutes to a half hour and I feel like its “bad for business”. Honestly if i do see someone leave my game I’m not to upset about it because a new player will join the game within the next minute or two. I won’t dive in about the betrayal banning simply because its a flawed system and nothing can be fixed about it. In general ban time lengthens NEED to come down for better game function. You live and you learn. 343 its time to learn.

There is a ban thread glued to the top of the support forum. Use it to discuss ban issues.

This is the ban thread. Ban related stuff goes here. Where did you go to med school?

Man, I feel bad that your hospital has lost business. On the plus side, not as many people are sick!

They need to make maps a little bit spacier and more open like the old Halos, take narrows and construct for instance. Their movement paths would have been fantastic for team slayer with 5’s control scheme of ground pounds and spartan charges. and they are big enough to justify the placement of a sniper rifle. I really like forge but at the end of the day I love to see the developers craft wonderful maps that put us deeper int the halo universe. Its one of the real reasons I disliked the free content updates. I would pay $15 for a collection of decently crafted maps.

How does this have anything to do with the original post?
EDIT: Didn’t catch the part about the map design first time reading over it. Whoops.

If you read the original post you would know that he went on to say arena maps are too blocky and badly crafted. This comment fits with the original post on a side note.

In terms of losing patience, good sir. the real question is what does your comment bring to the table in terms of coherent argument.

The title made me laugh. “All this hospital allows us to do is play Halo 5! I’m moving to the one down the street!” Honestly though, if a hospital only had Halo 5, I’d want to go to that one! Lol

OT: You should use the ban thread at the top of the forums.

EDIT: OP keeps changing the title. First he had “Losing my patients with Halo 5” then “Me whinge about Halo 5” and now “Me complaining about Halo 5 maps and stuff.” What will he do next? Find out in the next episode of Dragonball Z!

Just realized that.

Well, I had not caught the part about lazy map design first time around. I asked how this was relevant, Now I see how it is.

About the maps. H5 really has some hit and miss maps. All the warzone maps are great imo… They look good and all play differently. No arena is a different place. It has some good maps and some bad ones. The problem is to many remixes that us why so many seem the same. They have some good developer made maps. Tyrant and torque were good looking maps. At first I didn’t like the way they played but as I played them they grew on me and I like them now. The forged maps while not good looking still play well over all, except antifreeze that map is just the worse of all time and sadly seems to come up quite often. My main complaint about the maps is they are all so cqc related in arena. Not many open spaces really.

If you think about it, warzone maps could have simply been btb maps if they really wanted them to be.
