I’ve been trying to find the C.I.O. from Walgreens but their employees are less than helpful. Most of them don’t even know they carry Halo figures, let alone when they will be in stock.
I don’t get why they even have an exclusive figure, their toy section is worse than that of a dollar store, might as well be selling them at gas stations.

I was calling them at first, gave up on that after the customer service was less than helpful. Started going to the stores and then began hitting paydirt. They receive their shipping trucks on Wednesdays here, so by evening, they are on the shelves.

Good to know. I might have to make a couple special trips on the way in from work tonight to see if I can scoop one up. There just happens to be 3 stores on the way.
I’m only interested in getting the Scout at the moment. I have it pre-ordered, so there is no doubt I’ll have one … its just … waiting sucks.
If I can find one I can cancel the pre-ordered one.
I also want to get the CIO Ruin armor as well. Haven’t pre-ordered it … yet. But I may if I can’t find one.
Ironically, I found the steel/green CIO and the orange Scout at the Walgreens near campus. I purchased the CIO but not the Scout since I preordered almost all of the series 2 action figures. If y’all wish to see in-game pics of the Bones skin for the DMR then check out my fileshare.

Has anyone confirmed whether or not these new skins work in Spartan Ops?
I tried to use the new DMR skin in Spartan Ops but it didn’t work. I’m not sure about all of the other McFarlane Toys skins, but I did notice that the Champions Bundle skins do not work (at least they don’t work for me).

Hmmm, that’s disappointing. I knew the Champions Bundle didn’t work due to them being added to the game (an actual download). I was hoping these skins would work since they’re just codes to unlock content. Content that I was hoping would be on disc and a available in Spartan Ops. I was close to pulling the trigger for the Scout Toxic too. Thanks for the input.

All of the new content, that is, weapon and armour skins, was added to the game data with the last title update (the one that readied the game for the Champions Bundle). The codes DO unlock the content, but it’s already there, no download required. An unfortunate side effect is that none of the stuff added in the TU works in SpOps.

Ah, ok. That’s unfortunate. I still may go out and pick up the Scout Toxic just to have it, on the fence about it though. Thanks for the verification.
Completed the entire set on Friday. The armor and skins look good. I would say that the refractive is by far the sweetest.
I’ve still only found Chief and Bones CIO in the stores.
Added the purple figure to my amazon order last weekend since the price dropped down again.
Stopped at a store this weekend and was told that someone stopped in a half hour before I did and cleaned out their stock of halo figures.
Might stop on the way in tonight again to check. But might just wait for my order to ship.
I have managed to snag the Walgreens exclusive but I have yet to find a single figure at any other store. It seems only Walgreens stocks them at the moment in my area.
Yeah I’m kinda bummed that none of my Walgreens have the CIO Spartan only Master Chief. I asked my buddy who runs a local comic shop if he’d be stocking them and he said no because he basically has to pay what he has to sell them for. I have also found out that if you’re looking for any of Series 1 that Grocery Outlet has them in stock for $7.99, that is if you have one near you.
I finally found a Scout figure yesterday.
I stopped in at the one by work just to get a pack of gum and figured while I was there I would take a quick look.
I was there two days prior and only saw the same MC/CIO figures that have been there for a while. And this trip was no different until I happen to glance up at their upper shelves and caught a glimpse of orange next to some Assassins Creed figures.
There was a single Scout figure just sitting there. So I snagged it.
Pretty happy with the Toxic armor skin. Little bummed out about the figure. the left arm is locked up and won’t pivot up or down. It will rotate around, thats about it though.

I had much the same experience, albeit a CIO exclusive one.
I have located no Scout figures, and the Exclusive CIO only started showing up yesterday for me. Has anyone found any of the other figures in walgreens besides MC, CIO #2, and Scout?
Ironically, I walked to Walgreens again yesterday and noticed that the orange Scout with the Toxic skin for the Scout armor was still at the store. Wow, lol btw, I haven’t seen most of the skins online yet, but I did take some pics of the Riptide skin for the Assault Rifle if y’all wish to see them alongside the Bones skin for the DMR if y’all haven’t seen it online yet.
