There used to be skins you could get through codes on some action figures, if i were to buy a figure today, would i still get a code? Im interested in getting the MC figure with the AR skin.
Assuming that the action figure is new in box, you should. I just don’t know if the code has expired or not.

It’s my understanding that as long as the code hasn’t been used it will still work.
I don’t think these sorts of things expire as I bought a used copy of Halo: Reach this year with a Recon code in it and redeemed it without issue, so as that code was from 2010 and (I believe) the second series of Halo 4 figures from McFarlane came out in 2013, I expect that the codes with those will work too.
Oh man, I had one of these skins. I got an Assault Rifle skin with a blue and black paint job called RIPTIDE. I got it from a Master Chief action figure that also had Cortana with him.
I though it was pretty cool.
Been looking for a couple of them, still no luck 
I got this back in 2014, I used to use it, but I stopped when I got my Mark VI set from Legendary Campaign Completion
But my figure I got with it was faulty due to the ball joint in the head was the wrong size & the head doesn’t connect to it

I agree, i wish i had the skins but i still don’t sadly.
