McFarlane H5G Series 2 has Buck figure

They just recently released images of Buck, along with 3 other MP Spartans for Series 2 for Jan 2016:

Given the fact that two of them are just repaints of figures from Series 1, I think it’s safe to say Linda and Vale will be announced later, like Fred, Kelly, and Tanaka were. One thing I’m worried about is that Osiris team will continue to have inferior articulation to Blue Team, (even though their 3D models have more clearance around hips and shoulders than Blue Team, wtf?) Even so, the hips on the more recent series are pretty lame compared to what we’ve previously had. Still excited to complete Osiris and Blue though. What do you guys think the likelihood of Vale and Linda being in series 2 is? What about Arbiter, too soon?

Hot linked for the lazy (like me)

I’m not one for buying the figures…hell, I barely have enough room for any.

But Buck though…his armour is too damn awesome to miss out on this purchase.

I have to get an unnecessary amount of these.

Oh yeah? If you’re so lazy, then why’d you make a lazy link, huh? You’re more like the lazy-person’s Superman.

Chomps bag of Lays We…We should make this go Viral I…I support this movement… Zzzzzzz

I don’t know, Buck looks cool. But I got the recently released Locke figure and it was a piece of junk. Horrid articulation, paintjob and joints, plus he couldn’t hold his battle rifle properly. Overall a godawful figure and I should have spent that 15 bucks on a case of beer or something else. So I don’t have much faith these figures will be getting any better in terms of quality.

Awww I was hoping it would actually be a helmetless version with a super high detail sculpting of Nathan’s face.

Great that Bucks there but, that’s it?
The rest are just repaints of others. :frowning:
No Arbiter, Vale, or Linda? :frowning:
Hopefully this won’t turn out like the Halo 4 figures where they just stopped making new ones(Besides Thorne, Palmer, and Jul).
At least The Reach series had a variety of figures.

My Locke figure didn’t come too good either. His left hand is half poking out and his visor was curving off his helmet.

I wonder if they’ll make an Arbiter action figure.

Ever since McFarlane took over the figures have been pretty poor in quality. Any of the ones in the $15 range are junk honestly, and this is coming from someone who loves getting the figures. I really want some of the characters from Halo 5, but its hard to justify the cost. Its true the articulation is horrible, and the paint job looks so cheap. Idk if its an effort to make the armor look worn, but either way it doesn’t look good. And these issues are standard across the board.

…I’m okay with this.
