MCC won't load

Hey all,
I have just recently installed the MCC on my Xbox one X but it doesnt seem to load. Like it finished instaling/updating but it goes to the logo screen and then just takes me back to the dashboard !
I’ve tried hard reset and offline etc !
Please help as I am so keen to get back and play this game !

I have the same problem. Just bought the xbox and Halo Sunday night so I could enjoy on my vacation. It finally finished updating/installing this morning and now the game won’t start. I’ve done a reset with keeping games, but Xbox support said there may be a patch to allow me to delete the game database without reinstalling?

I had the same issue. I contacted support and they said it was the disc, so replace it and then get in touch with them if it doesnt work.

Instead, I uninstalled the game and then reinstalled only the disc. I started the update AFTER the disc was fully installed. Once the update got to about 10%, I was able to play. Every thing is fully installed and updated and so far no issues playing. (I will say I’m only playing campaign right now, without Xbox Live).

I am going through the same problem and I seen the others, one of them said his work after installing the disk but see I don’t have a disk, I downloaded it and it wouldn’t work, I have a Xbox one S and I just download it, did my updates and it goes to logo and then go right back to the dashboard like the other person, but it’s the 2nd day having it and when I tried it, it went to a different logo, the wait was longer but still didn’t get into the game.

I just played last night on an Xbox One S, but I have never used a disc to install, only digital.

Hi everyone !

I have a problem with Halo CE :
The loading screen is freezing then it takes me back to the Home Xbox.

It’s only happening with Halo CE, the other games are working.

I tried to :

  • uninstall/reinstall the game - Failure
  • load the game with another account - Failure
  • Reset the Xbox as default settings - Failure
  • Contact Microsoft Xbox support, they just said that the problem comes from 343i.

I Don’t know what to do now… Can anyone help me ? Please !
